Zoo Atlanta
We decided at the last minute to go to the zoo today. We weren't going to go but decided to keep up with a tradition of some of my family (who also went to the zoo today - just not the same one ><) - and the 1/2 price admission tickets for the month of December were helpful! I took over 300 pictures - here are just a few of them.

Santa & Lights at the Village Green
Last night Bill took me to see Santa! I love Christmas and it was so exciting! While we were talking to Santa someone took our picture and printed it and gave it to us - talk about Christmas spirit!
After we saw Santa we went across the road to the Village Green so that I could get some pictures, here are some for you to enjoy.

It's almost here!!
It is almost Christmas! I am so excited, I can hardly contain myself! I love Christmas, everything about it is so wonderful. There is magic in the air, an excitement and peace to be felt with everything you do! As I said before I am so excited, the last few days have felt like a few weeks. I love the goodness it brings out in people (I wish it would stay with more people longer than it does - but what can you do?). I love that ALL of my Nativities can be on display and people just think that it is normal if they come by and see you (though I think that I am going to start keeping one out all year, I have the perfect place to keep one and where I have so many I can switch them out). Last night we drove though the Village Green here in Smyrna and saw the lights it was great! I will have to take my tripod and get some pictures to share with you. Bill is excited too, which is awesome.

2010 Nativity Parade!
Char over at Crap I've Made is hosting a Nativity Parade today! Since I just love Nativities I thought I would participate.
These are my two favorites right now. The first one my dad and I made in 2008. I drew it up and he programed a machine to cut it out of aluminum. The 2nd one is the newest in my collection, Bill bought it for me in New Mexico on our way to Georgia.
Here are a few collages of some of my other Nativities:
If you want to participate too (or if you just want to look at more Nativites) go here

ornaments
I like to give the Smith kids ornaments each year. This year I made some tangled up Rudolph ornaments and I LOVE how they turned out! I got the idea here - though I made mine a little bit different.
