...but you probably haven't! I did finish my new tree skirt late last night. I love it. Here are some pictures:
Ugh - sorry for the blurry picture there at the end - I will get a better one later, but doesn't it look awesome. Much better than the old one we had which was much too small for our tree (seriously you couldn't even see it unless you laid on the floor to look).

It is beautiful!! You will keep it forever and pass it on at some point in time. You did a super job on it!! ♥
ReplyDeletei love it, how did you make it, do you hAVE A PATTER?
ReplyDeletei need to make one
Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteNope - I don't have a pattern! HAHA I measured from the pole in the middle of the tree out how far I wanted the tree skirt to reach. Then I took some fabric I had and cut out a circle using that measurement as the radius. Next I cut the patterned fabrics to make the ruffles hemmed the edge and used a gather stitch along the top, then I gathered and gathered and gathered (for a very long time) when the ruffles looked how I wanted I sewed them on the circle I had made (starting with the largest)
