I love Love LOVE Christmas time! I can't believe that I am just barely posting about Christmas 2011 - I mean it is February 8th (Happy Birthday Uncle Rex!).
I can't ever sleep on Christmas eve - I figure that I will never be able to sleep on Christmas eve, it is just too exciting. When I was younger I couldn't sleep because I wanted to know what I was getting, and there was always that one present under the tree that I was just dying to know what was (that being said there were a few years when that present I just had to know what was wasn't even for me but for my sister - and I knew it!). Now I can't sleep because I am excited for others to get the things that I got for them! That is ok though. I am very grateful that I was taught the magic of Christmas time and that because of this December will ALWAYS be magical for me.

Bill certainly spoiled me this year with almost everything on my list. I didn't get the house in Utah I wanted or some books that I wanted, but I did get some neat things anyway. He bought me a gumball machine (and gumballs to fill it), Uncle Wiggly (a game I my Uncle Mark had when I was little that I played a lot), Dorrie and the Blue Witch, the "new" Jimmy Eat World cd (it is over a year old but I didn't have it yet, though I am not sure I was missing anything - why oh why Jimmy did you have to use the F word!?) and all kinds of other things. I made Bill some dorky gifts that made him cry(more on those in the next post), got him a new wallet and some pajamas. It was good - but Christmas is always good.
