Today starts week 5 of my p90 routine. It seems to have gone by really fast. This week I am down 1 pound and a total of 6.5 - yes six and one half - inches! I think that is pretty good. Also today I started using the blue resistance band (4-6 pounds), I had been using the yellow resistance band (2-3 pounds) up to this point. I will admit I was a little nervous about using the blue band and so I had both bands at the ready. I am happy to report however that I used the blue one for the whole routine, on many of the exercises I did less reps (10 or 11 vs. 15) than I had been but I stuck with it (and that is what really matters). Between the pushups and the blue band my arms are nice and tired!
In other news these:
are delicious! Dove dark chocolate and cherry swirl. OOOO Yummy! They taste kind of like a cherry cordial minus the goo and the NASTY maraschino cherry.
Also in the world of yummy is this:
a conglomerate of things we had that we tossed in the crockpot one day last week. I can't tell you exact measurements on it but this is what was in it:
cut up chicken tenderloin
chicken gumbo soup
like 3 handfuls of rice
green beans
corn
water
a packet of gravy
cumin
black pepper
It was awesome. We ate it with some hard rolls and we ate it again for lunch the next day.
Maybe it is kind of silly to blog about food in the same post as my p90 update - but hey it is my blog so I can do what I want ^^.
